
Shaneika Bailey-Bryan, RSW, MSW

Shaneika grew up in Toronto and the GTA, is bilingual (English & French) and of Jamaican heritage.
My Story
Shaneika graduated from Sir Wilfrid Laurier University in 2011, where she completed her thesis on
institutional caregiving and its developmental impact on children.
Shaneika has worked with the Guyana Red Cross as administrator to the Children & Convalescent Home and lectured at the University of Guyana in their Social Work Department. She pioneered the use of adoption liaisons in Guyana and partnered with international adoption agencies to find over 25 children their & forever families.
Shaneika has over 15 years of experience working with and centering the voices of children and youth experiencing separation, adoption, abuse, neglect, and various other concerns in a myriad of roles, from frontline to administrative, local to international.
