Motor Vehicle Accidents
(MVA – therapist)

After a motor vehicle accident (MVA), psychological assessment and counselling can give you the support you need to achieve mental wellness and help you regain a sense of control in your life.

Dealing with the aftermath of a car accident can be confusing and challenging. Aside from dealing with any phyical injuries you or your loved one may have experienced from the car accident, there may be other changes you notice, such as:

-Increase or decrease of appetite
-Varying sleep routines
-Altered mood state (IE: feeling emotionally low, anxious, irritable, etc)
-Difficulty with concentration, focus and memory
-Increase in stress

Following a car accident, these experiences are normal. However, they may have significant impact on your mental health and your ability to achieve quality of life.

Working with an MVA Counsellor can help you achieve mental wellness and regain a sense of control in your life by:
Helping you identify the changes and challenges you are experiencing.

Advocating for your identified needs.
Providing strategies to help you positively manage the changes and challenges
Supporting you towards reaching your future goals.
